Installation and modernization of automobile scales

Task

Modernization of automobile mechanical scales into digital for optimization and to make the higher speed of the equipment.

What was done

4 loading cells were used to implement the project. The team of specialists first inspected the foundation and structures where the scales will be installed and assessed the functionality of the drainage, waterproofing, and shock absorbers. In the process of reconstruction, the mechanical system was completely replaced with Keli loading cell equipment. The weight is displayed on the weighing terminal, mounted in the operator's office.

Today, mechanical scales cannot ensure high accuracy and speed of work at enterprises. Thanks to the modernization of electronic scales, the principle of operation of the scales is completely changed: the load on the sensors is transformed into a special signal, which is changed to a digital code and displayed on the PC monitor. All measurement results are stored in the database.

With the use of KELI tensometric equipment, two types of scales are modernized: basic and complete.

Basic – without the extension of the weighing platform, which includes the preservation of the old foundation of the scales and the installation of a loading cell without increasing the area of the weighing platform.

Full – with the extension of the weighing platform, which subordinates the finishing of the foundation, the loading platform, the increase of the load capacity, and the improvement of the characteristics of the technical purpose automobile scales, including the connection to the PC.
