Automation of car scales: remote loading of products from the hopper to the transport

Task

To implement the loading of products from the bunker to the car without the operator's participation.

What was done

Installation of an RFID system to ensure remote control of the car loading process, where data about the shipped material is automatically transferred to the server for further accounting. Thanks to the creation of quality software, we managed to keep the “simplicity” of the download algorithm and speed up this process.

Automation of the weighing process took place by installing a flap that controls the supply of material to the hopper. The driver places the car for loading on the scales, applies the RFID card, and presses the “Start” button: the machine is tare, and the process of loading the material begins. After that, the driver presses the “Stop” button and applies a card to save the weight of the loaded material.

The program stores the weighing report and all necessary information: net weight, gross weight, weight of loaded material, date, time, car number, and driver's name.
